  1. Application Of Renewable Energy In Water Lifting

MERI has three renewable energy sites of utilizing solar and wind energy in water lifting at Tushka, Wadi-El-natroun, and Kanater. Through monitoring solar radiation intensity, temperature, and wind speeds, suitable sites of renewable energy application are determined. Performance of the water lifting systems are evaluated to determine efficiency and feasibility of using renewable energy at this scale.
